A large pension fund management firm required an evaluation of their complete financial processes and the preliminary analysis of fit to their current use and capabilities of Oracle Financials. Our involvement incorporated 5 phases:

Database and Business Intelligence Consulting ProVision concluded Database and Business Intelligence consulting for a Provincial Corporation. Our team held the following responsibilities:
- Requirements gathering and conceptual Data Warehouse (DW) environment design
- Data modeling (logical and physical) including source, staging, shared data repository and data marts
- Database design, implementation and administration
- In-house ETL architecture and design (tables, stored procedures, user defined functions, etc.)
- Implementation and roll-out of Data Marts for various business areas including:
- Marketing, operations and finance Data Marts for activity and marketing campaign analysis
- Database access security, data integrity and consistency checks and backups
- End user coaching, support, mentoring and training other team member
Business Process / Website Communication A not for profit professional association required significant change in their business process, notably to be reflected in their Website communication channel, with the goal of increasing membership and traffic to their website. ProVision suggested examining some of the core business processes for other opportunities. We provided the following services:
- Website functional requirements review and evaluation of options for business process improvement. which was completed concurrent with supporting software installation
- Website creative and Information Architecture
- Website design/navigation Integration with Content Management software as a multi-browser compliant portal.
- Integration of software modules with website
- Existing French and English content migration and training of all users to manage content ongoing.
- Presentation of a clean, professional look for the organization
CIO Selection A not for profit professional services firm required assistance with the selection of a Chief Information Officer. ProVision provided a series of services that focused on the structured technical assessment and short-list of candidates. This included a set of panel interviews with a group of behavioral based scenarios, against which all candidates were scored. The panel consisted of a Subject Matter expert (CIO from a relevant professional services group) and two senior recruitment and selection consultants. The successful candidate is in his third year of service to that organization.
