Requirements were developed for national enterprise solutions, with transitions from testing and QA methodology, to approach quality through the entire project lifecycle, including testing and deployment.enterprise applications, and applied to financial systems and merchandising transaction systems.
POS Application Development - Project Manager Our client required a strong project manager with extensive Retail industry experience to lead/manage projects in a Unix (AIX) / NT based distributed and parallel environment with multi-tera DB2 UDB Data Warehouses and POS transaction systems handling $10B in financial transactions a year encompassing retail sales and purchasing. SAP Retail Module Integration/System Testing To provide hands-on consultative and technical advice/assistance with test plan development and test script design for systems testing of phase 1 for the SAP Retail Module integration into an existing ERP and systems environment.
Retail Systems Business Analyst This resource was responsible for taking primary ownership of service delivery and support for Store Systems in this Retail client's environment , as well as all new Store Systems software releases from the regions, issue management and problem ticket trend analysis. In addition was primary point of contact for Help Desk for level 2 and 3 support, and coordinated requests for enhancements, fixes and modifications for each regional release while liasing with the business process leads to prioritize change requests and manage the service request backlog.
SAP HR & BW Techno-Functional Consultant Our client needed a Consultant to come in to help with requirements gathering and cost/benefit analysis. An approach was recommended on how to best leverage BW in an HR environment as well as examinining the reporting possibilities (standardized and custom) that BW could present for the business owners.
National POS Director This full-time, permanent placement was responsible for the development of a national POS platform for all company Point of Sale Systems. This Director, working with the Store Systems area, is now responsible for managing the software levels, custom modifications,and interfaces to move Sobeys to a national POS platform over a three year window. This will require tight integration with the ISP team, all new store applications, and all enterprise applications using the transaction log as foundation data.
SAP Basis Administration Provided senior technical leadership and support with SAP Basis Administration including the configuration and deployment of Solution Manager for this large SAP environment (Retail, Human Resources (HR), CMD and RSM systems). Additional involvement included building an SAP Exchange Infrastructure (XI) sandbox and providing design, architectural assistance on the XI infrastructure design.
